A coach who knows you. People who’ve got you.
FormCircle is a strength coaching app for people who trained seriously once and want to get back to it. You pick a coach whose voice actually works for you, you get real notes on how you are moving, and you train alongside a small circle of people who notice when you show up and when you don’t.
Three things a good coach does, in an app that does not clock out
A human coach at this level runs $150 to $200 a month and books you into their calendar. FormCircle keeps the parts that make coaching work and drops the part where you have to schedule it.
A coach you chose
Pick from a gallery of AI coaches with genuinely different voices, from patient and methodical to blunt and fast. Every one of them is clearly labeled as AI, because pretending otherwise is how trust gets broken. The one you pick remembers your history, your injuries, and what you said last Tuesday.
Attention on how you move
What a real coach is actually watching is the quality of the movement, not the number on the bar. FormCircle gives you specific notes on the parts that break down first, in plain language, on the set where it happened rather than in a report three days later.
People who notice
Invite up to five people. They see when you finish a session and can send a cheer. They see when you go quiet, too. Accountability is not a feature you toggle on, it is other people knowing. Your circle never pays a cent, forever.
One session, one note, one person paying attention
Dark, quiet, and built around today. Nothing to browse, nothing to configure before you can train.
You already know how to train. That was never the problem.
Most fitness apps are built for beginners, and most of them assume the missing ingredient is information. If you played a sport, or lifted seriously in your twenties, or spent three years with a coach who actually knew your name, you do not need another exercise library. You need the thing that made you show up.
What usually ended it was not a loss of interest. It was a move, a job, a kid, an injury, a schedule that stopped having a Tuesday evening in it. The training did not get harder. The reason to be there got quieter.
FormCircle is built for that comeback specifically: for people roughly 30 to 50 who have done this before, know what good coaching feels like, and are not interested in starting over as a beginner. And if you are losing weight quickly right now and want to hold on to the strength you have, that is exactly the case this was designed around.
“Depth held to set four. That’s the part most people lose first.”The kind of note you get from a coach who is actually watching

Who is building this
FormCircle is an independent software company based in Phoenix, Arizona, building coaching tools for adults returning to strength training after time away.
The company was founded on a specific observation: the coaching industry has gotten very good at serving people who are already consistent, and very bad at serving the far larger group who were consistent once. Those are different problems. The second one is mostly not about programming at all. It is about whether anybody notices.
We are small, self-funded, and building the first version deliberately narrow rather than broad. If you want to talk to us, the email below is read by a person.
